Bhubaneswar: The Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) sealed Amber Saree Store in the city’s Janpath area on Thursday for violating social distancing protocol and other COVID-19 guidelines.
Similarly, BMC also shut down Bhai Tiffin Centre at Ravi Talkies Square and an OMFED booth at Ekamra road for violating lockdown as well as social distancing norms.

Earlier on Wednesday, BMC had issued an advisory to denizens to finish their shopping for the upcoming Raja festival before Friday evening to avoid the last-minute rush.
It also advised people to go for online shopping.
For festival shopping, people have been asked to choose the lean period and avoid crowded markets/shops.
“Everyone must strictly follow the physical distancing norms while going out for shopping/marketing and wear mask,” a notification issued by BMC said.
The shop owners were also been asked to strictly adhere to COVID-19 guidelines, including maintaining of social distancing norms.
Besides, people of Bhubaneswar have been requested to strictly follow the curfew from 7 pm to 5 am and guidelines issued by the Odisha government.
