Cuttack: Ravenshaw University in Odisha’s Cuttack city has postponed UG and PG examinations, which were scheduled to be conducted by the university from March 25, after two hostel boarders tested positive for COVID-19.
The city has witnessed a surge in cases with 102 people testing positive for the virus in the last seven days.
On March 18, 12 students of a private Plus II science college were found infected. Further tests pushed the infected tally to 25. Another cluster of coronavirus was found in a private school in the city on March 20.

Four new COVID-19 cases have been reported from another private educational institute on March 23.

In Bhubaneswar, 33 students of Xavier Institute of Management, Bhubaneswar, (XIMB) have contracted the virus.
Three students of the National Institute of Technology (NIT) in Rourkela have also been infected.
