Balasore: The Regional Transport Office (RTO) in Odisha’s Balasore was closed after an employee tested positive for COVID-19 on Sunday.
It will remain shut till July 15 during which the office will be sanitised and all those who had come in contact with the infected will undergo COVID-19 test, official sources said.
The infected employee was actively involved in arranging transport to thousands of migrants, the sources added.
Earlier the RTO I and RTO II in Bhubaneswar and the Driving Training School in the Odisha capital were closed till Sunday after four employees of RTO I tested corona positive.
