Bhubaneswar: Odisha’s daily COVID-19 caseload crossed the 3,000 mark on Saturday with 3,679 fresh cases being reported in the last 24 hours. Of them, 384 are children.
COVID-19 cases have increased in Odisha over the past week.
Odisha reported 2,703 cases on Friday, 1,897 cases on Thursday, 1,216 cases on Wednesday, 680 cases on Tuesday, and 424 cases on Monday.
According to the I & PR department, 2,148 are from quarantine and 1,531 local contacts. Khurda reported the highest of 1,223 cases, followed by Sundargarh at 582, Sambalpur (372) and Cuttack (310).
