Cuttack: The daily COVID-19 positive cases, which had remained below 20 for two days, jumped to 26 persons in the city in the last 24 hours.
According to the Cuttack Municipal Corporation (CMC), nine cases were reported from institutional quarantine centres and four from home quarantine while 13 were local contact cases.
While the total cases have gone up to 15,553, there are 378 active cases in the city at present.
The city reported 15 new cases on Monday and 17 on Sunday.
