Daily COVID Caseload Drops Below 1000 In Odisha; TPR 1.34%

Bhubaneswar: After a gap of almost four months, the COVID caseload in Odisha dropped below 1000 on Monday.

The state saw 886 fresh infections being detected from 66063 swab samples in the last 24 hours, which took the affected tally to 987956.

The test positivity rate also dropped to 1.34 per cent from 1,79 per cent the previous day.

Khurda district reported the highest 253 fresh infections, while Cuttack and Balasore logged 81 and 62 cases, respectively.

This includes a State Pool of 51.

Odisha now has 11486 active cases compared to 12129 a day earlier with 1463 more patients getting cured of the infection on Sunday.
