Bhubaneswar: Odisha saw a marginal rise in daily COVID caseload as 615 more people, including 68 in the age group of 0-18 years, tested positive for the virus in the last 24 hours.
The state had seen 529 COVID positive cases on Tuesday, 448 on Monday, 652 on Sunday, 526 on Saturday and 524 on Friday.
According to the I & PR department, 357 of the new infections are from quarantine and 258 local contacts. Khurda reported the highest of 323 cases (52.52%) followed by Cuttack at 72. Nil cases have been reported from eight districts.

With these cases being detected from 62,675 samples, the test positivity rate (TPR) stood at 0.98%. The TPR was 0.94% on Tuesday, 0.70% on Monday, 0.97% on Sunday, 0.76% on Saturday, and 0.78% on Friday.
While the affected tally has touched 1033288, Odisha now has 5,203 active cases.
