Mumbai: As Sandeep Reddy Vanga dropped Vivek Oberoi’s first look from his upcoming film ‘Spirit’ on Friday, fans went gaga.
The film, which stars Prabhas and Triptii Dimri as lead actors, will see Vivek playing an antagonist.
Fans who were hoping to see South Korean star Don Lee in the film were thrilled to see Vivek in the new poster of the film.
Introducing Vivek’s first look, which features the actor dressed in a robe and smoking a cigar, Vanga wrote, “Presenting you all, the antagonist of the film SPIRIT. Mr Vivek Anand Oberoi.”
Sharing his new look on his social media, Vivek added, “A mystery buried in shadows and eyes that remember the darkest secrets. In Cinemas across the World on March 5th, 2027.”
Reacting to the post, a user who was hoping for an announcement about the Korean star joked, “Looks like we all are fooled today.”
“We were expecting this, but still (fire emojis),” commented another, sharing an AI poster of Don Lee in Vivek’s place.
“Better than Prabhas’ first look,” remarked one X user.

Written, edited and directed by Sandeep and produced by Bhushan Kumar’s T-Series and Sandeep’s Bhadrakali Pictures, along with Pranay Reddy Vanga, Krishan Kumar, and Prabhakar Reddy Vanga. Gulshan Kumar and T-Series, ‘Spirit’ is expected to be released in eight languages on March 5, 2027.
