Mumbai: After quitting showbiz in 2019, ‘Dangal’ girl Zaira Wasim returned to Instagram to reveal her wedding on Friday night.
Sharing photos from her wedding, Zaira captioned the post as ‘Qubool Hai x3.’
In the photos, the newlyweds are seen signing the nikaah papers, while posing with their backs to the camera.
Zaira wore a bright red saree with golden embroidery for her special day.

Zaira made her Bollywood debut with Aamir Khan’s ‘Dangal’, and rose to fame in 2016.
She portrayed the character of young Geeta Phogat, the celebrated wrestler, and was rewarded with the National Award for Best Supporting Actress.
Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, the sports drama became one of the biggest blockbusters of the year.
Zaira next featured in Advait Chandan’s musical drama ‘Secret Superstar’ in 2017.
The film, revolving around a teenaged girl determined to become a singer despite social barriers, also featured Aamir, along with Meher Vij and Raj Arjun.
Despite achieving fame and success in the initial phase of her career, Zaira announced her retirement in 2019, stating that she wanted to focus on religion.
“I want to confess that I am not truly happy with this identity, that is, my line of work. For a very long time now it has felt like I have struggled to become someone else,” she had shared in a Facebook post.
In another social media post, sharing that she isn’t as righteous as others might believe her to be, she wrote, “While I acknowledge with humility all the love people shower me with, I cannot emphasise enough how the praise that comes my way isn’t gratifying at all for me and how big of a test it is for me and how dangerous it is for my Iman.”
