Mumbai: After Sandeep Reddy Vanga dropped a cryptic post on feminism on X, apparently meant for Deepika Padukone, the actress’ fans took to social media to roast the filmmaker.
Sharing Vanga’s post, one user wrote sarcastically, “Andhra Tate will never miss an opportunity to insert feminism when it has nothing to do with the power struggle and b***hing between two privileged cinema bourgeoisie.”

Mocking at Vanga’s lengthy post, another wrote, “Ego got hurt so blame feminism for it and write such a long ass post!! and then saying zara bhi fark nahi parta lol, such a cry baby.”

“What a crybaby omg says mujhe jarra bhi faraq nahi padta yet proceeds to write a whole ass paragraph,” commented another.
Some others called out the filmmaker for glorifying toxic male behaviour in his films and mocking feminism.
“Glorifying domestic violence, cheating, abuse and what not in your movies is not filmmaking vanga. You should be the last person calling out someone’s feminism,” tweeted one.

Another added, “Deepika is true alpha for making this man child cry.”
In a recent interview with Harper’s Bazaar, Deepika talked about what keeps her balanced.
“I think what keeps me balanced is just being truthful, being authentic. And whenever I am faced with, say, complicated situations or difficult situations, to be able to listen to my inner voice and just make decisions, stand by decisions that really give me peace. That is when I feel most in equilibrium,” she said.
Deepika was dropped from Vanga’s ‘Spirit’ last week, apparently because of her unprofessional behaviour and high demands.
Vanga then announced Triptii Dimri as the female lead in his film.
