Delhi Law & Order In Serious Turmoil, Says CM Arvind Kejriwal
New Delhi: Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal on Saturday expressed serious concern over the law and order situation in the national capital after two crimes were reported in the last 36 hours.
He requested Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Lieutenant Governor Anil Baijal to take appropriate action.
“Deeply concerned by the murder of a 8-yr old girl in Khichdipur & attack on a 17-yr old boy in Kalkaji. Delhi’s law and order situation is in a serious turmoil, I appeal to Hon’ble Home Minister & Lt. Gov to take appropriate action to address the situation,” Kejriwal tweeted.

The teenaged boy was thrashed and stabbed for allegedly trying to protest against three boys who were stalking his sister and making indecent comments in Kalkaji area, as per his sister’s statement to police.
The injured boy was taken to AIIMS Trauma Centre.
In the other incident that Kejriwal to, body of a nine-year-old girl, who was kidnapped from east Delhi’s Khichripur are three days ago, was found in the sugarcane fields of a village near Ghaziabad. Police said autopsy has ruled out sexual assault.
Four persons, alleged to have kidnapped and murdered the girl, have been arrested.
