Bhubaneswar: Air India Express will begin direct flight services from Bhubaneswar to Ghaziabad and Port Blair from Sunday (March 30).
Daily flights on these two new air routes are being launched under the new destination policy of the Odisha government.
According to the schedule, the flight from Hindon will depart at 9.20 am and arrive at Biju Patnaik International Airport (BPIA) in Bhubaneswar at 11:45 am. The return flight will leave the Odisha capital at 12.15 pm and land at Hindon Airport at 2.30 pm.
Similarly, the flight to Port Blair will take off from Bhubaneswar at 10.35 am and land at Veer Savarkar International Airport there at 12:55 pm. On the return journey, it will depart from Port Blair at 1.25 pm and arrive here at 3:35 pm.
In January, the Odisha government had launched direct flight services from BPIA to Jaipur, Kochi, Lucknow and Patna and from Veer Surendra Sai Airport (VSSA) at Jharsuguda to Hyderabad, Raipur, and Lucknow in partnership with. Air India Express and Star Air.
