Boston: A doctor here developed a severe allergic reaction after getting a shot of Moderna’s COVID-19 vaccine. He has a history of shellfish allergy.
Dr Hossein Sadrzadeh, an oncology fellow at Boston Medical Center, felt dizzy with a racing heart immediately after being vaccinated, the New York Times reported.

This is the first instance of the Moderna vaccine developing a reaction.
Dr Sadrzadeh was administered his epi-pen and was taken to the Emergency department where he was treated, observed and discharged. He is currently fine.
