Washington: As promised since the time he started campaigning for the US Presidency last year, Donald Trump has been true to his word.
The Trump administration has begun cracking down on illegal migrants soon after taking charge earlier this week.
In a massive operation, US authorities have arrested 538 illegal migrants and deported hundreds within three days of Trump being sworn in as President for his second term.
“The Trump Administration arrested 538 illegal immigrant criminals including a suspected terrorist, four members of the Tren de Aragua gang, and several illegals convicted of sex crimes against minors. Trump Administration also deported hundreds of illegal immigrant criminals via military aircraft. The largest massive deportation operation in history is well underway. Promises made. Promises kept,” White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt said in a post on social media.
On Friday, Leavitt shared pictures of people boarding a military aircraft.
“Deportation flights have begun. President Trump is sending a strong and clear message to the entire world: if you illegally enter the United States of America, you will face severe consequences,” wrote Leavitt.

The White House listed names of some of the people arrested by the US Immigration and Customs Enforcement along with the crimes committed by them — rape, sexual conduct against a child and continuous sexual abuse of a child aged 14 or younger.
Trump signed an executive order of ‘Protecting the American people against invasion’, which read: “Millions of illegal aliens crossed our borders or were permitted to fly directly into the United States on commercial flights and allowed to settle in American communities, in violation of longstanding Federal laws.”
Many of these “aliens unlawfully within the United States” present significant “threats to national security and public safety”, committing vile and heinous acts against innocent Americans, the order further stated.
