Downward Trend In COVID Infections: 5 Odisha Districts Report Cases In 2 Digits, Nil In Six
Bhubaneswar: The downward trend in the daily COVID caseload in Odisha continued on Wednesday with 143 more people testing positive for the virus in the last 24 hours against 168 the previous day. The state has been reported less than 200 cases for the last three days.
Among the new infections, 28 are children below 18 years of age. Gajapati registered the highest of 20 cases and four other districts – Balasore, Jhasuguda, Kendrapada and Sambalpur – reported cases in two digits. The daily count in Khurda has remained at 8 for the last two days. Six districts saw nil cases.

With these cases being detected from 50481 samples, the test positivity rate stood at 0.28 per cent. Odisha now has 2163 active cases.
