Bhubaneswar: The body of a man was recovered from a car parked in Unit 6 area of Bhubaneswar.
The deceased has been identified as Chandrasen Patra, who hailed from Ganjam district and worked as a driver.
According to sources, Chandrasen was working as a driver in a travel agency at Bhubaneswar. The owner of the travel agency was unable to contact him over phone since 3 pm on Friday. He tracked the location of the white car around 10 pm and reached there. After finding the white car, he saw Chandrasen lying inside it.
Officers from Capital police station reached the spot and recovered Chandrasen’s body which was sent for post-mortem examination. His family has been informed and further procedure will be conducted after they reach.
Police have launched an investigation to determine the exact cause of death. Preliminary probe suggest that Chandrasen might have suffocated to death while sleeping inside the car, but all angles are being looked into. Police will scan the CCTV footage from the area to gather vital clues into the death.
