Bhubaneswar: The budget session of the Odisha assembly was adjourned sine die, five days ahead of schedule, on Saturday.
Speaker Surya Narayan Patro announced early closure of the monsoon session of the House after accepting a motion moved by the Government Chief Whip Pramila Mallik
The government went for early adjournment of the Assembly as there was no pending official business to transact.
The monsoon session, which was held in two phases – June 25 to July 2 and again from July 12 – was scheduled to end on August 8.
