An initiative of the World Wildlife Fund (WWF, Earth Hour started in 2007 and since being observed on the last Saturday of March every year. This year’s theme is ‘Shape Our Future’.
By taking part in Earth hour, people show their support for climate change as switching off the lights for one hour can make a substantial difference in energy consumption and help reduce the effect of global warming on the planet.
