Ekta Kapoor Making Her First Pan-India Film With Malayalam Superstar Mohanlal

New Delhi: The queen of soaps, Ekta Kapoor, has announced her foray into pan-Indian cinema with a movie starring none other than Malayalam superstar Mohanlal. She made the announcement on her social media. The movie is reportedly being made on a budget of Rs 200 crore.

She wrote, “Posing with d legend n the genius !!!! JAI MATA DI so excited to b working with the actor par excellence @ Mohanlal. Balaji Telefilms partners with Connekkt Media and AVS Studios for VRUSHABHA – a Pan India bilingual Telugu Malayalam Film starring megastar Mohanlal. High on emotions and VFX, the film is an Epic Action Entertainer transcending generations. Touted to be one of the biggest films of 2024, VRUSHABHA, directed by Nanda Kishore, goes on floors later this month and will be released simultaneously in Malayalam, Telugu, Kannada, Tamil and Hindi.”

The film will be helmed by Nanda Kishore, who has directed eight Kannada films. Vrushbha will mark his first pan-Indian film. Ektaa Kapoor’s next Hindi film production is The Crew, starring Kriti Sanon, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Tabu. This movie is directed by Rajesh Krishnan, India Today reported.

Vrushabha will be an action entertainer and Mohanlal’s fans and the audience are looking forward to this new collaboration. The story reportedly revolves around a father and son filled and was filled with action and emotion.
