Behrampur: An elderly couple was found hanging in their house at Gandisola village in Ganjam district on Wednesday.
The deceased were identified as Laxman Dalei and his wife Hema Dalai.
Some neighbours spotted the duo hanging inside a room of their house and immediately alerted the police about the incident.
Police have started investigation. The bodies were seized for post mortem to ascertain the reason behind their death.
According to locals, the two might have committed suicide over family dispute.
