Angul: The body of an engineering student at Adarsha College of Engineering in Angul district was found hanging from the ceiling of his hostel room on Monday.
The deceased was identified as Prince Kumar Singh, a third-year diploma engineering student hailing from Bihar.
Being informed about some of the inmates of the hostel, police reached the spot and recovered the body.
“The family members of the victim alleged that he has been murdered over past enmity and demanded an inquiry into the case. However, the body has been sent for post-mortem”, a police officer informed.
