Gunupur: The body of an engineering student was recovered from a rented house located at Balaram Nagar in Gunupur of Rayagada district on Wednesday.
The deceased has been identified as Neeraj Mishra of Bihar.
The body was found hanging in a room of the house by some local residents who informed police about the incident.
Police rushed to the spot and seized the body for post-mortem.
Investigation is ongoing to determine the exact cause of the student’s death. However, locals suspect that Mishra has been murdered over past enmity.
