The Yatra, initiated by Vimal Daga, a distinguished tech maestro and world record holder, has traversed through Jaipur, Udaipur and Delhi. After its stop in Bhubaneswar, the Yatra will continue the journey to Agra, Bareilly, Indore, Bhopal, Kolkata, Pune, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Visakhapatnam and other cities.

Daga, TEDx speaker and founder of LinuxWorld Informatics and Preeti Chandak, Chief Strategy Officer, LinuxWorld Informatics conducted a 6-hour hands-on training programme on Amazon Web Service (AWS) Cloud with Artificial Intelligence at National Institute of Science and Technology (NIST) (Autonomous) in Berhampur.

More than 350 students from different branches participated in the workshop to learn AWS and Python from scratch. The training on AWS Cloud, Artificial Intelligence and Computer Vision was provided by building live projects such as Finger Detection-based EC2 Launching and AWS Web App integration using Python.

Known as a technology visionary, Daga has launched ‘Be the Creator’ initiative and officially kicked off the national level ‘Engineers Tech Odyssey’ in Odisha. He inspired the students to transform their ideas into reality, urging them to go beyond corporate jobs.

A key aim of this educational initiative was to provide students with indispensable skills for success in the technology sector. The Engineers’ Tech Odyssey guaranteed that students, irrespective of their geographical location or financial constraints, have the opportunity to access high-quality technology education.

“The Engineers Tech Odyssey will serve as a stepping stone in these students’ career paths and growth. It will provide them a platform to showcase their abilities, gain recognition, and connect with like-minded individuals,” said Career Training Coach Preeti Daga.

P Rajesh Kumar, Principal, Bishnukar Nayak, Vice-Principal, Manas Ranjan Patra, Professor, CSE, Brojo Kishore Mishra, HoD of School of Computer Science and Engineering and Sandipan Mallik, Mentor, GDSC NIST spoke at the event.
