Bhubaneswar: In order to promote young entrepreneurs, the Western Odisha Development Council (WODC) will organise an entrepreneur conference, Enterprise Odisha-2023.
Presiding a preparatory meeting on the conference in Bhubaneswar on Monday, WODC chairman Asit Tripathy said Mission Shakti women have emerged as successful entrepreneurs of the state. “Enterprise Odisha-2023 will help provide them a great opportunity. Young entrepreneurs will understand the use of new technologies and get suggestion from other successful entrepreneurs,” he added.
The conference will carry forward the slogan of SHG to SME and provide an open and big opportunity to the small and medium youth entrepreneurs of Western Odisha. The 3-day Enterprise Odisha-2023 will be organised in western region for the first time.
Aiming at promoting commercial enterprises in agriculture, cattle rearing, animal husbandry and horticulture sectors, the conference will connect successful entrepreneurs from different parts of India with Western Odisha. The conference will be held start in Jharsuguda from December 15 to 17.
Among others, Hemant Sharma, principal secretary, Industries department, BS Poonia, MD, IPICOL and members of CII were present at the meeting.
