Bhubaneswar: The protests against evaluation of Plus Two examination papers this year took a serious turn on Monday when an ex-regular student from Ganjam slit her wrist in front of the office of the Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE) in Bhubaneswar.
The dropout and ex-regular students said protests seeking valuation of Plus two papers as per the Class X score has fallen on deaf ears and their future is at stake.
Due to the new evaluation process adopted by the Council, barely 26 per cent ex-regular students have cleared the exam while the pass percentage is 99 per cent in regular students, they alleged and demanded justice
