Kolkata: Ever since actor Mithun Chakraborty joined the BJP on March 7, many Twitter accounts in his name have been popping up.
The accounts have been constantly criticizing West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee.
However, India Today has found out that Mithun has created a Twitter account “@mithunda_off” and is trying to get it verified according to his assistant. This has been confirmed by BJP’s Bengal wing. The following is the only real account. All other accounts are fake.
Twitter accounts come with a unique Twitter ID number. Even if the handle is changed, the Twitter ID number remains the same.
Here are a few fake accounts in the name of Mithun Chakraborty:

This account was earlier used as “@SwetaaSinghAT”.
