Fact Check: Will ‘Project K’ Shooting Be Postponed After Deepika’s Health Scare?

Hyderabad: Bollywood diva Deepika Padukone had a health scare on the sets of Nag Ashwin’s ‘Project K’ the other day.

As she felt unwell and her heart rate reportedly went up, Deepika was rushed to a private hospital in Hyderabad for urgent medical attention.

She did return to the sets on Tuesday after doctors examined her. But the next phase of her shoot may be postponed.

India Today reported that Deepika’s co-star Prabhas has requested the makers of ‘Project K’ to postpone shooting of the film by a week to give the Bollywood actress some time to rest and recuperate.

“They were to shoot crucial scenes together. But Prabhas has asked for a reschedule and requested to postpone shooting by one week. Deepika, currently in Hyderabad, is feeling better now, and Prabhas has left the decision on her,” a source was quoted as saying.

Prabhas is one of the most popular stars of Telugu cinema. He and Deepika, two of the highest-paid stars of Indian cinema, are working together for the first time.

Project K also stars Amitabh Bachchan and Disha Patani in key roles.
