Mumbai: After Karan Johar and Alia Bhatt, it’s the turn of Shraddha Kapoor to join the fan club of newcomers Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda, and their debut film ‘Saiyaara’.
Shraddha took to her Instagram handle on Tuesday and shared a video of herself clapping, hooting in the theatre while watching ‘Saiyaara.’
The actress wrote, “Saiyaara’s Aashiqui ho gayi hai mujhe (I’ve fallen in love with Saiyaara).”
In her post, Shraddha indirectly compared ‘Saiyaara’ with Mohit Suri’s 2013 blockbuster film ‘Aashiqui 2’.
Sharing a still from the movie, in which Ahaan is seen kneeling on the stage while looking at Aneet’s photo, Shraddha wrote, “pure cinema, pure drama, pure magic. Uff…bohot time baad itna emotion feel kiya hai…Iss moment ke liye 5 baar dekhungi (Uff… felt so emotional after such a long time… I’ll watch it five times just for this moment).”
Produced by YRF’s CEO Akshaye Widhani, ‘Saiyaara’ is a love story revolving around a short-tempered musician, Krish Kapoor (Ahaan Panday) and an aspiring journalist, Vaani (Aneet Padda).
The film, which released in theatres on July 18, is leaving cash registers ringing at the box office.
