Mumbai: Newcomer Ahaan Panday is currently on cloud nine as his debut film ‘Saiyaara’, which hit theatres on July 18, is leaving cash registers ringing at the box-office.
Adding to star kid Ahaan’s thrill is filmmaker Karan Johar’s review of his film.
In his review, the popular filmmaker called Ahaan ‘spectacular’ and welcomed him to the industry.
Calling ‘Saiyaara’ the best film of Mohit Suri’s career, Karan wrote on his Instagram handle, “What a debut @ahaanpandayy !!!! You broke my heart and yet energised me as a filmmaker… your eyes spoke volumes and I can’t wait to see your journey ahead…. You are spectacular!!!! Reacting to Karan’s review post, Ahaan shared that he is ‘truly shell-shocked’ after being lauded by the filmmaker.
Ahaan took to his Instagram Stories on Monday, reposted Karan’s review post and wrote, “I grew up watching KKHH, I grew up to your school of cinema, and to hear this from you, I am truly shell-shocked. Thank you, sir, from the bottom of my heart for this and for everything you’ve given us, thank you a thousand times over.”
