New Delhi: The agitating farmers, who on Wednesday rejected the Centre’s proposals to amend the contentious farm laws, will boycott all products of Adani Ltd and Reliance Industries Limited, including the widely-used Jio mobile SIM cards.
Leaders of farmer unions told mediapersons at Singhu border that the government’s refusal to roll back the farm laws has compelled them to escalate their protest.
Apart from blocking the Delhi-Jaipur and Delhi-Agra highways on December 12, the farmers will not pay at toll plazas and boycott all products of Adani and Reliance. “We will boycott Jio SIMs as well,” they added.
