FAStag Mandatory From Feb 15, Says Nitin Gadkari

New Delhi: The Union Road And Transport Minister of India, Nitin Gadkari has said there will be no more extension for the implementation of FAStag in the country.

The last date of getting a FAStag for a vehicle is February 15. Addressing questions by the media, he revealed that the monthly toll collected through FASTag stands at Rs 2,088.26 crore, News18 reported.

The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) had earlier said that the deadline for putting FAStag would be January 2021. However, it got extended so that people could get more time.
