Berhampur: Kishore Chandra Panda, the father of Berhampur MLA and BJD leader Bikram Panda, tested positive for COVID-19. He has been admitted in Aswini Hospital near here, the MLA said.
The vice-president of Ganjam district unit of BJD and a close associate of the MLA, Sanjit Panigrahi also tested COVID-19 positive. Earlier some of the close associates of Panda including Tumbanath Panda, Badri Narayan Mishra, Sudarshan Jena and Pradip Nayak had tested positive for the coronavirus.
