Petrol in the state capital now costs Rs 105.93 per litre and diesel Rs 95.72 per litre.

The Centre started increasing the rates of petrol and diesel from March 22. Prices had been on a freeze since November 4 ahead of the Assembly elections.

To protest against the hikes in fuel prices and its effect on retail inflation, the Congress on Saturday called a ‘Mehngai Mukt Bharat Abhiyan’.

Rallies, marches and protests will be organised across the country from March 31 to April 7, targeting the BJP government at the Centre.

Here are the new rates of petrol and diesel in some key cities of Odisha. The first figure denotes the new rates of petrol and the second figure denotes new diesel prices.
