According to Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), the plane was returning to Juhu after a test run when it crashed into a under-construction building in Sarvodaya Enclave, killing two pilots and two maintenance engineers.

The deceased were identified as pilot Maria Kuber, co-pilot Pradeep Rajput, and technicians Surabhi and Manish Pander.

A man lost his life on the ground, too. Two charred bodies have been taken out by firemen. It took them more than an hour to put out the flames.

Those injured are Luvkush Kumar and Naresh Kumar Nishad.

The aircraft, Type C-90 12-passenger capacity, belongs to Mumbai-based UY Aviation Pvt Ltd. While DGCA will conduct a preliminary probe, a thorough inquiry into the incident will be carried out later by the Aircraft Accident Investigation Bureau.

According to reports, the plane was sold by Uttar Pradesh government to a UY Aviation in 2014.
