Bhubaneswar: For the first time in this month, no two-digit figure of recoveries from COVID-19 was reported from any district of Odisha on Wednesday.
As many as 61 patients recovered from COVID-19 and were discharged from hospitals in 17 districts on the day. They included 9 each from Angul and Sambalpur, 6 each from Mayurbhanj and Sundargarh, 5 from Khurda and 4 each from Balasore and Ganjam, according to Health and Family Welfare department.
The recoveries from other districts are as follow:
3 each from Gajapati and Jajpur
2 each from Cuttack, Keonjhar, Puri and Rayagada
1 each from Bargarh, Balangir, Deogarh and Nuapada
The total recovered cases in Odisha now stand at 3,35,857 while there are 638 active cases with 82 more people testing positive for the virus in the last 24 hours.
