Bhubaneswar: Former IIC of Nandankanan police station Parmanand Nayak has been suspended for ‘gross misconduct’, the DGP tweeted on Thursday evening.
According to sources, a woman sub-inspector (SI) of the same police station had accused Nayak of sexual harassment. The SI further alleged that he had threatened her with dire consequences after she lodged a formal complaint with the higher authorities.
