Bhubaneswar: Biju Janata Dal (BJD) on Monday announced the names of new presidents for six organisational districts. The announcement was made by the party’s state returning officer Pratap Keshari Deb.
As per the list released to the media, former Ministers Ashok Chandra Panda and Rohit Pujari have become presidents of Bhubaneswar and Sambalpur organisation districts respectively.
Similarly, Saroj Kumar Meher was appointed the organisational district president of Balangir, while Ashish Chakravorty became president for Keonjhar unit of BJD.
Pradyumna Tripathy became the organisational district president for Rourkela and Debashis Marandi president of Maurybhanj district.
