Four From Bhubaneswar Among 42 COVID Deaths In Odisha

Bhubaneswar: Odisha reported 42 COVID deaths in the past 24 hours, the Health Department reported on Sunday.

Of the new deaths reported from 20 districts, four each are from Bhubaneswar (Khurda), Cuttack, and Angul, three each from Boudh, Deogarh, Jharsuguda and Kalahandi, two each from Gajapati, Jagatsinghpur, Mayurbhanj, Rayagada and Sundargarh and one each from Bargarh, Ganjam, Jajpur, Kandhamal, Malkangiri, Nuapada, Puri and Koraput.

The deceased were identified as:

1. A 44 years old female of Angul district who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus.

2. A 70 years old male of Angul district who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus, Chronic Kidney Disease.

3. A 85 years old male Angul district who was also suffering from Hypertension.

4. A 60 years old male of Angul district who was also suffering from Hypertension.

5. A 55 years old male of Baragarh district.

6. A 67 years old male of Bhubaneswar who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus & post Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting.

7. A 52 years old female of Bhubaneswar who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus, Thyroid, Dyslipidemia & Hypothyroidism.

8. A 62 years old male of Bhubaneswar who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus & Hypertension.

9. A 60 years old male of Bhubaneswar.

10. A 60 years old female of Boudh district.

11. A 35 years old male of Boudh district.

12. A 36 years old male of Boudh district.

13. A 57 years old female of Cuttack district who was also suffering from Cronic Kidney Disease, Hypertension & Dilated Cardiomyopathy.

14. A 56 years old male of Cuttack district.

15. A 45 years old male of Cuttack district.

16. A 74 years old male of Cuttack district.

17. A 64 years old male of Deogarh district who was also suffering from Cancer.

18. A 65 years old male of Deogarh district who was also suffering from Hypertension.

19. A 65 years old male of Deogarh district who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus & Hypertension.

20. A 73 years old male of Gajapati district.

21. A 50 years old male of Gajapati district.

22. A 70 years old male of Ganjam district who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus & Hypertension.

23. A 83 years old male of Jajpur district who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus, Hypertension & Chronic Kidney Disease.

24. A 65 years old female of Jharsuguda district.

25. A 47 years old male of Jharsuguda district who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus.

26. A 38 years old male of Jharsuguda district.

27. A 42 years old male of Jagatsinghpur district.

28. A 55 years old female of Jagatsinghpur district.

29. A 48 years old male of Kandhamal district.

30. A 60 years old male of Kalahandi district.

31. A 60 years old male of Kalahandi district who was also suffering from Chronic Kidney Disease.

32. A 39 years old male of Kalahandi district.

33. A 40 years old female of Koraput district who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus.

34. A 40 years old male of Malkangiri district.

35. A 45 years old male of Mayurbhanj district.

36. A 63 years old male of Mayurbhanj district.

37. A 55 years old female of Nuapada district who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus.

38. A 61 years old male of Puri district who was also suffering from Diffuse Large B cell Lymphoma.

39. A 44 years old female of Rayagada district.

40. A 35 years old female of Rayagada district.

41. A 52 years old female of Sundargarh district.

42. A 50 years old male of Sundargarh district.

With these deaths, Odisha’s COVID-19 toll has climbed to 2994.
