Balasore: Four persons were killed and five injured when their car collided with a speeding lorry near Nekrasuli in West Medinipur district of West Bengal on Monday.
According to reports, the nine persons from Simulia and Khaira in Balasore district had gone to Kolkata on Sunday. While they were returning, a lorry collided head-on with the car on Monday early morning.
Four persons were killed on the spot. The car driver and four others were critically injured.
Later police, took the injured to a nearby hospital. The bodies of the deceased will be handed over to their family members after post-mortem, police said.
