Four Of Family Stabbed To Death Over ‘Land Dispute’ In Odisha’s Bargarh

Bargarh: Four members of a family including, two minor children, were allegedly stabbed to death at Jhikijhiki village under Bhatli police limits in Odisha’s Bargarh district late on Monday.

The deceased have been identified as Gurudev Bag, his wife Sibagri Bagh, their son Chudamai  (15) and daughter Sravani (10).

Police have sealed the room with the bodies and detained one Siba Bagh, a relative of the deceased, in connection with the incident.

According to sources, Siba and the family members of the victim were at loggerheads over a piece of land. The accused barged into the  house late on Monday and allegedly stabbed his nephew, daughter-in-law and their son and daughter using a crowbar.
