Kochi: Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan on Monday dismissed allegations of poll code breach of announcing free COVID-19 vaccines.
The BJP and UDF had petitioned the State Election Commission on Sunday charging that the Chief Minister’s remarks on free vaccine of violating the model code of conduct.
“We have been providing free treatment for COVID-19 and preventive medicine is part of that treatment. We made it clear that it will be provided free of cost. There is no violation of any model code of conduct,” the Chief Minister told reporters.
He added that this is an ongoing thing in the state and he was not violated any code.
