Fresh Monkeypox Cases In Kerala, Delhi; Check Details
New Delhi: India reported two cases of monkeypox on Tuesday with one more person in Kerala and a Nigerian national in Delhi testing positive for the disease.
Another man, who had returned from the UAE, tested positive for monkeypox in Kerala on Tuesday. This is the fifth case in the state so far.
Kerala Health Minister Veena George confirmed the news, ANI reported.
The 30-year-old patient is undergoing treatment in Malappuram, the health minister said. He had reached Kozhikode airport on July 27 from the UAE.
In Delhi, another Nigerian national has tested positive. This is the third monkeypox case in the national capital, ANI reported.
On Monday, a 35-year-old Nigerian national, with no recent history of foreign travel, tested positive for monkeypox in Delhi.
