Ganjam Reports Four COVID-19 Deaths, Odisha Toll Rises To 546
Bhubaneswar: Eight more patients succumbed to COVID-19 in Odisha in the last 24 hours, taking the death toll to 546 on Sunday.
The Health Department identified the deceased as:
1. A 48-year-old male from Bhubaneswar who was also suffering from Diabetes and Hypertension.
2. A 48-year-old male from Ganjam district who was also suffering from Diabetes.
3. A 45-year-old male from Ganjam district who was also suffering from Diabetes and Hypertension.
4. A 78-year-old male from Ganjam district who was also suffering from Hypertension.
5. A 56-year-old male from Ganjam district who was also suffering from Diabetes.
6. A 49-year-old female from Koraput district who was also suffering from Diabetes and Hypertension.
7. A 38-year-old male from Rayagada district.
8. An 80-year-old male from Sundargarh district.
With these eight new casualties, the virus has so far claimed 204 lives in Ganjam district, followed by 75 in Khurda, 38 each in Sundargarh and Cuttack, 28 in Rayagada, 18 in Gajapati, 16 in Puri, 15 each in Sambalpur and Nayagarh, 13 in Balasore, 11 in Kandhamal, nine each in Bargarh and Bhadrak, eight in Balangir, seven each in Malkangiri, six each in Jajpur and Keonjhar, five in Mayurbhanj, four each in Jagatsinghpur, Koraput and Angul, three in Kendrapada, two each in Sonepur, Dhenkanal, Nabarangpur and Kalahandi and one in Jharsuguda.
