Gaza War Won’t End Till Israel Achieves All Goals, Says PM Netanyahu

New Delhi: Russia’s war against Ukraine will complete two years next month. Down south, another war has been raging in Gaza for three months, and is showing no signs of dying down either.

Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu declared on Sunday that the war in Gaza will not end until Israel achieves all its goals, especially destruction of Hamas.

“Three months ago Hamas committed a terrible massacre against us. My government directed the IDF (Israel Defense Forces) to go to war to eliminate Hamas, return our hostages and ensure that Gaza will never again be a threat to Israel,” Netanyahu said in a statement.

“We will not give Hamas any immunity whatsoever, and we will fight until we restore security in both the south and the north. Until then, and to that end, everything must be put aside and we must continue with united forces until absolute victory is achieved,” the Israel PM added.

It was on October 7 that Hamas, the Gaza-based militant organisation of Palestine, launched an all-out attack on Israel from land, sea and air.

Stung hard, Israel hit back at Hamas, resulting in thousands of innocent lives being lost both in Gaza and Israel.
