Bhawanipatna: Mukhiguda police registered a ‘missing case’ of the general manager of Upper Indravati Hydro Electric Project (UIHEP), Narayan Prasad Meher (55), on Tuesday evening.
He has been reportedly missing for the last two days. Narayan was living in a government quarter of Mukhiguda under Jaipatna police station limit.
His wife, Surekha Meher, registered the FIR. She told the media that Narayan went to his office at 10.30 am but did not come back home.
“As far as I know, he had no enmity. When I called him at 12.40 pm, he did not respond,” she said.
Mukhiguda outpost, sub-inspector, Premchand Sahu said investigation into the case is on.
UIHEP comes under Odisha Hydro Power Corporation Limited (OHPCL). The project is about 90 km away from Bhawanipatna.
