Puri: Boxer Lovlina Borgohain has assured of a second medal for India at the ongoing Tokyo Olympics by qualifying for the semi-finals of the welter weight category (64-69 kg) in women’s boxing.
Back home in India, sand artist Sudarsan Pattnaik took to his own unique way to congratulate Lovlina on her feat.
The internationally-acclaimed artist created a sand art on Puri beach on Sunday to inspire the boxer to “go for gold”.
“I congratulate Lovlina for reaching the semi-final at Tokyo Olympics. Through my sand art I have given a message ‘Go For Gold’ to her. I wish her all the best,” Pattnaik said.
