Good News: ECoR Extends Festival Special Trains Till March End

Bhubaneswar: The East Coast Railway (ECoR) has decided to extend the running of 21 pairs of festival special trains originating from its jurisdiction up to the last week of March.

Among others, these will include seven special trains from Bhubaneswar, two from Sambalpur and five from Puri, according to an ECoR release.

The trains are:

(From Bhubaneswar)

  1. 02819/02820 Bhubaneswar-Anand Vihar-Bhubaneswar Bi-weekly Special leaving from Bhubaneswar on every Wednesday & Sunday and from Anand Vihar on every Tuesday & Friday will run up to 31st March, 2021 from Bhubaneswar and up to 2nd April, 2021 from Anand Vihar.
  2. 02880/02879 Bhubaneswar-Lokamanya Tilak Terminus (LTT)-Bhubaneswar Bi-weekly Special leaving from Bhubaneswar on every Monday & Thursday and from LTT on every Wednesday & Saturday will run up to 29th March, 2021 from Bhubaneswar and up to 31st March, 2021 from LTT.
  3. 08479/08480 Bhubaneswar-Tirupati-Bhubaneswar Weekly Special leaving from Bhubaneswar on every Saturday and from Tirupati on every Sunday will run up to 27th March, 2021 from Bhubaneswar and up to 28th March, 2021 from Tirupati.
  4. 02839/02840 Bhubaneswar-Chennai-Bhubaneswar Weekly Special leaving from Bhubaneswar on every Thursday and from Chennai on every Friday will run up to 25th March, 2021 from Bhubaneswar and up to 26th March, 2021 from Chennai.
  5. 02845/02846 Bhubaneswar-Bangalore Cant-Bhubaneswar Weekly Special leaving from Bhubaneswar on every Sunday and from Bangalore Cant on every Tuesday will run up to 28th March, 2021 from Bhubaneswar and up to 29th March, 2021 from Bangalore Cant.
  6. 02898/02897 Bhubaneswar-Puduchery-Bhubaneswar Weekly Special leaving from Bhubaneswar on every Tuesday and from Puduchery on every Wednesday will run up to 30th March, 2021 from Bhubaneswar and up to 31st March, 2021 from Puduchery.
  7. 08496/08495 Bhubaneswar-Rameswaram-Bhubaneswar Weekly Special leaving from Bhubaneswar on every Friday and from Rameswaram on every Sunday will run up to 26th March, 2021 from Bhubaneswar and up to 28th March, 2021 from Rameswaram.

  1. 08306/08305 Sambalpur-Howrah-Sambalpur Weekly Special leaving from Sambalpur on every Friday and from Howrah on every Saturday will run up to 26th March, 2021 from Sambalpur and up to 27th March, 2021 from Howrah.
  2. 08311/08312 Sambalpur-Manduadih-Sambalpur Bi-weekly Special leaving from Sambalpur on every Wednesday & Sunday and from Manduadih on every Monday & Thursday will run up to 31st March, 2021 from Sambalpur and up to 1st April, 2021 from Manduadih.

  1. 08449/08450 Puri-Patna-Puri Special leaving from Puri on every Monday and from Patna on every Wednesday will run up to 29th March from Puri and up to 31st March, 2021 from Patna.
  2. 08419/08420 Puri-Jayanagar-Puri Special leaving from Puri on every Thursday and from Jayanagar on every Saturday will run up to 25th March, 2021 from Puri and up to 27th March, 2021 from Jayanagar.
  3. 02827/02828 Puri-Surat-Puri Special leaving from Puri on every Sunday and from Surat on every Tuesday will run up to 28th March, 2021 from Puri and up to 30th March, 2021 from Surat.

  1. 02851/02852 Visakhapatnam-Nizamuddin-Visakhapatnam Bi-weekly Special leaving from Visakhapatnam on every Monday & Friday and from Nizamuddion on every Wednesday & Sunday will run up to 29th March, 2021 from Visakhapatnam and up to 31st March, 2021 from Nizamuddin.
  2. 02887/02888 Visakhapatnam-Nizamuddin-Visakhapatnam Special leaving from Visakhapatnam on every Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday & Sunday and from Nizamuddion on every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday & Saturday will run up to 31st March, 2021 from Visakhapatnam and up to 2nd March, 2021 from Nizamuddin.
