Berhampur: The Ganjam administration has restricted entry of public to all government offices till July 31.
Though the tweet gives no reasons for this decision, sources said that several officials posted in Chhatrapur collectorate and DRDA offices have tested positive for the virus. They are suspected to have contracted the virus while being posted at temporary medical camps meant for migrants.
Collector Vijay Amruta Kulange on Tuesday further said that all public and private banks in the district will remain operational from 8 am to 3 pm and customers will be allowed entry only till 1 pm.
