Balasore: A man was killed in a road crash in Odisha’s Balasore district on Wednesday, just a day before his wedding.
The deceased has been identified as Harekrushna Mahalik.

The accident occurred near Baligohiri on State Highway-19 when his car collided head-on with a dumper truck. Harekrushna, who was on his way to pick up his sister for the wedding, died on the spot. His uncle, who was also in the car, was critically injured and hospitalised.
What was meant to be a joyful occasion turned into a heartbreaking tragedy for the family, which was all set for the Thursday wedding.
Police have launched an investigation and seized the dumper.
