Keonjhar: A man attached to a gym foiled a bid by a criminal to loot a State Bank of India ATM near Baniapata Chhak under Town police limits of Keonjhar, early on Saturday morning.
Sources said an unidentified criminal tried to break into the ATM machine around 4am on Saturday. Hearing the noise, a man from a nearby fitness centre rushed to the spot and raised a commotion. The criminal attacked the man and fled from the spot.
Residents informed police, but till reports came in the police were yet to reach the spot.
